TwinNeedle "The Sack" pack, Gaiters & Bivvy bags are on their way!

A couple of years ago we all got ‘the sack’ some of us liked it so much we got ‘the sack’ twice. Now ‘the sack’ is available to you.

Bare bones or in marketing speak sleek & streamlined, no external fittings.  ‘The sack’ and nothing but ‘the sack’.

Would you like an ice axe or walking pole attachment with that sack, or maybe an alpine patch? Sprinkle on some side compression straps and a wand pocket, pour on a front and side pocket, roll top lid, full lid – fixed or floating.

You build it – we make it

We see a lot packs and over the years, we have altered and customized countless packs,  so over a few beers one Friday afternoon we thought why not make our own packs – well that’s not entirely true,  we have been making our ‘own packs’ for quite a while, hybrids of different models and different brands, trying to get the pack that we wanted with features that we needed.

The sum total we have called ‘The Sack’, It’s a fairly simple pack which you can add whatever features you want.

With a history of repairing broken and worn packs, we know what works and what goes wrong, what wears out first and what lasts.  We want these packs to last.

These packs will be made in-house with materials sourced from local suppliers keeping it a true New Zealand made and tested pack.

We have sent out a few samples made in house to extreme gear testers across the country to give us feedback before the release of the packs. This will help us ensure we put out the finest New Zealand made packs money can buy.
